Last updated: July 2026. This policy explains what personal data multioptimization.com (“we”) collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect and why
- Account data — name and email address when you create an account, so you can access your orders and licenses.
- Order data — billing name, email, and country, needed to process your purchase and issue tax-compliant receipts. Payment itself is processed by PayPal; we never receive or store card numbers.
- License activation data — a hardware-derived serial number from the computer you activate on. It identifies the machine for license enforcement and cannot be used to identify you personally or to access anything on your computer.
- Support correspondence — emails and tickets you send us, kept so we can help you and reference past issues.
- Technical logs — standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (cart contents, login sessions) and, with your consent, privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can change your consent at any time via the cookie banner. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Who we share data with
- PayPal — processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider — stores the website and its database.
- Email delivery services — deliver order confirmations and license keys, and, only if you subscribed, our newsletter (unsubscribe anytime).
We never sell personal data.
How long we keep data
Order and license records are kept for as long as your license is valid and as required by tax law. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Server logs are rotated automatically.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (where no legal retention duty applies). EU/EEA residents have these rights under the GDPR; California residents under the CCPA. To exercise any of them, email contact@multioptimization.com — we respond within 30 days.
